A good point is made-- we need real change so that we are not just replicating political structures, but rather approaching global issues while looking through a new set of lenses. We are still more concerned with power and dominance, rather than bringing the best about for all people on this earth. It isn't a competition! We need to foster a true and lasting cooperation, which would be a step toward real peace. That's what I voted for.
I spend about 1/3 of my time (for only ten months a year) teaching 4th and 5th graders at a public school in Southern California. The rest of the time (which seems like a lot more than I thought, when I really look at it), I divide between things like reading, playing the guitar, walking my dog, watching sports, and occasionally things like camping and taking trips. I do most of these things in the company of my wife, who is just..well..amazing.
